There are many different grades of LVL, as there are hardwoods. LVLs can be produced in a wide range of specifications.
These range from, packing grade, one-time use, non-waterproof, to engineering grade, multi-use, and BWR waterproof grade.
Ferrier rubberised LVL pipe dunnage is produced from engineering grade, Eucalyptus, multi-use BWR, waterproof grade LVL. Ferrier LVL pipe dunnage is approved by BlueScope Steel Risk Engineering, for use with BSL Load Restraint Guidelines;
