Sustainability

In today's world, there is increasing concern about the impact of human activity on the environment. Businesses are needing to provide greater transparency to their customers as reporting on ESG is becoming more commonplace.

At Ferrier Industrial,  we are committed to continually  innovating our systems and products to ensure we supply traceable and sustainable products that never compromise on safety.

By creating high volume packaging products and heavy load restraint systems that support current road, rail and sea safety laws, Ferrier Industrial Limited is not only contributing to the safety of the transportation industry but also helping to reduce the amount of waste generated by these industries. Moreover, replacing less sustainable materials with sustainable ones is a step towards reducing the carbon footprint of the industries we serve.

How we are making a change

Take a look below at some of the ways we are shaping the industry for a better , more sustainable future.

End Of Life

There is a growing awareness of the need to sustainably manage end-of-life solid woods and manufactured wood products such as LVL.

Our intention in the immediate future is to collect and store EOL LVL products in economic volumes then provide to AU and offshore processors that will convert LVL to products such as large-scale landscaping ground cover mulch or engineered molded wood pallets, pallet riser blocks or transport dunnage.

Pallet Blocks

Woodchip pallet blocks are an innovative and eco-friendly alternative to standard blocks used in pallet construction. These blocks are made from compressed wood chips or sawdust, providing a sustainable and cost-effective solution for pallet manufacturing.

The innovation of woodchip pallet blocks represents a significant step forward in sustainable pallet construction. By repurposing waste materials, improving manufacturing efficiency, and reducing environmental impact, these blocks offer a compelling alternative to traditional pallet blocks.

Recyclable Wood Compiste Beams

At Ferrier Industrial Pty Ltd, we are commitment to environmental stewardship and economic sustainability. We strive to provide the best possible solutions for our customers, providing functional, high performance materials, as well as ensuring cradle-to-grave management of the products we produce.

Our unique process utilizes low-cost waste from building formwork and construction sites, offering an innovative alternative to virgin timber products.

We've got your load restraint needs covered!
